The group accommodation Tabor is situated in Saas-Grund (Valais, Switzerland). The ski area Hohsaas, 3200 m above sea level, with cable car, chair-lift and 3 skilifts can be reached within 10 minutes on foot (or by postal coach). The summer- and winter ski resort Saas Fee, 3500 m above sea level, with 5 cable railways, 2 chair-lifts and 9 skilifts is accessible by postal coach within 10 minutes (included in the skipass). The highest section to the revolving restaurant is covered by the famous Metro Alpin. Summer-skiing on the glacier. The Saas Valley, with a Southern influence on weather, offers: - several trails along rivers, on the valley floor or with panoramic views - alpine flora, glacier, observation of feral animals - educational trails on flowers, ecology and forests - museum of Saas, round church in Saas Balen dating back to 1812 of national interest
