The Güntlenau and Vorauen are popular campsites, and you can also rent canoes or stand-up paddle boards from here. When the ice cover of the lake is thick enough in winter, it becomes available for ice skating.

The hike around Lake Klöntal takes around four hours and offers plenty of scenic highlights: including rugged mountains, waterfalls and the deep blue water of the lake. Enjoy the varied path that will lead you to idyllic towns and villages. Along the way, you can take a refreshing dip in the lake or stop off at one of the restaurants around the lake. The trail is accessible from spring to early winter.
