ヴァレ・ドゥ・ジュー（ジュー谷）
Intro
フランスとの国境となっているジュラ山脈の南端に位置する美しい谷。世界的に有名な時計ブランドの本社が点在する時計の谷、またモンドール・チーズの名産地として知られています。
観光地の紹介
ジュラ山麓にあり、ラ・ダン・ドゥ・ヴォリオンLa Dent de Vaulion などの山や、ジュー湖 Lac de Joux、ブルネ湖 Lac Brenetといった湖、森の樹々に囲まれた美しい谷。谷の最高峰となる標高1679mのモン・タンドル（タンドル山）Mont Tendreからはベルナーオーバーラント地方のアルプスやサヴォワ地方のアルプスなど、地平線のように広く連なる山々を望むことができます。
ル・ブラッシュ Le Brassusには『オーデマピゲAudemars Piguet』『ブランパン Blancpain』、ル・サンティエ Le Sentierには『ジャガー・ルクルトJaeger-LeCoultre』など高級時計ブランドの本社が集結している時計産業の聖地としても有名です。
また、レ・シャルボニエール Les Charbonnières を中心につくられる人気のチーズ『ヴァシュラン・モンドール Vacherin Mont-d'Or 』のふるさとでもあります。とくにジュラ山脈が色づく秋には、絵画のような情景が楽しめます。
