The Arosa Bear Sanctuary is an animal welfare project and visitor center in Arosa, Graubünden, Switzerland. It was created specifically as a sanctuary for bears from poor husbandry conditions and offers them a natural, species-appropriate home in the Alps.
Bear country allows visitors to observe the animals in a natural environment and at the same time learn more about animal welfare and the needs of bears. It is a popular excursion destination for families and nature lovers and combines nature conservation with education and animal observation.
