For the first time in history, a Federal Youth Yodelling Festival is taking place - and Grindelwald has the honor of hosting this event. On September 12, 2026, children and young people from all over Switzerland will come together to showcase their skills in the traditional disciplines of yodelling, alphorn blowing, Büchel blowing and flag waving.
The festival not only offers a stage for young talents in Swiss folklore, but also a varied supporting program for visitors. With concerts, demonstrations and interactive experiences, Grindelwald becomes a meeting place for Swiss traditions.
