Intro
The Fête de la Musique is an opportunity to see concerts all over the city of Lausanne. Its streets, squares, parks and churches become stages for performances of every musical genre.
Musicians spread all around the town, concerts of every kind and stages will appear in the city of Lausanne for the music festival that traditionally takes place on 21 June. The festival season also opens on this date. Music invades the streets, concert halls, clubs, parks, churches, courtyards and, of course, the cathedral. It is a mixture of all musical genres and caters for all members of the public.
In Lausanne, the Fête de la Musique has become a must-see event, attracting more than 40,000 spectators every year!
