Vernissage: Anna Maria und Hans Thoeny Luck

Every six months, the exhibition is changed in the Kulturbox – managed by the Davos/Klosters/Prättigau Cultural Alliance and located just opposite the post office on Bahnhofstrasse in Klosters. From Saturday 13 June 2026 at 11 am, works by the artist couple Anna Maria and Dschems Toeny Luck will be on display. The two artists met in Fajauna in 1973. Hans was born in Putz in 1952 and grew up in Schiers. Amarili was born in Winterthur in 1951 and grew up in Klosters. Together, they embarked on many journeys into the wider world and the adventure of family life. Thanks to their door always being open to a wide variety of people and inspirations, their home in Fideris is a space for creativity, originality and invention. Anna Maria Thoeny Luck: ‘People and Animals’ The austere structure of the bodies symbolises the unity of humanity, whilst individuality is represented through distinctive heads and varying tones. The painting of the animal figures and the different firing techniques give rise to the colourful yet smoky hues. Dschems Thoeny Luck: ‘Regional’ I compose my pictures using bold, clear colours and always with a touch of humour. Through the design, I try to compensate for the reduction in colour. My focus is on the landscapes and the people in our surroundings. My motto: as much as necessary, but as little as possible.
