Zugvögel Openair 2026 – Resonance: Music Connects Worlds
Zugvögel Openair is more than just a music festival – it is a space for connection, creativity, and shared experiences. Under this year's theme, "Resonance: Music Connects Worlds," the festival brings together local and international artists to create unique musical collaborations developed exclusively for the event.
At the heart of the festival are one-of-a-kind performances that can only be experienced at Zugvögel Openair. International artists collaborate with choirs, orchestras, and musicians from the Canton of Zug, blending genres and traditions to create entirely new sonic landscapes.
But the connections extend far beyond the stage. Zugvögel sees its audience as an active part of the festival experience. Through participatory formats such as Circle Singing, everyone is invited to join in and experience the joy of making music together. An immersive sound experience offers a unique opportunity to explore music through mindful listening, collective resonance, and deep sensory engagement.
The festival also provides a platform for emerging talent. Local newcomers from the Canton of Zug are given the opportunity to perform in a professional festival setting alongside regional, national, and international artists.
Zugvögel Openair celebrates musical diversity, openness, and collaboration. Whether it's pop, soul, indie, choral music, or orchestral soundscapes, the festival creates meaningful encounters between genres, cultures, and people.
Join us for two days of exclusive collaborations, inspiring performances, and unforgettable musical experiences that go beyond the traditional concert format. At Zugvögel Openair, music is not only performed—it is created, shared, and experienced together.
