Swiss Historic Hotels and Lodgings

Dating back to the year 1873, this hotel is located in the historical centre of the spa town of Baden and presents a romantic building with Art Nouveau architecture and an impressive atrium with trickling fountain. The family-run “Blume” is brimming with charm and history, while celebrating nostalgic thermal baths in the style of the 19th century. Here water stems from a “large hot stone” located on the Kurplatz in front of the hotel, the healing powers of which were already known and used by the Romans.

On foot:

From the station, follow the signs with the pedestrian pictograms towards the Grand Casino and then along Bäderstrasse towards the Limmat.

By car:

From Bern/Basel via A1 direction Zurich, exit Baden

From Zurich via A1 direction Bern/Basel, exit Baden/Neuenhof

From the "Schulhausplatz" junction, follow the "Grand Casino" signs. At the traffic circle in front of the Grand Casino Baden, take the second exit onto "Bäderstrasse" (orange arrow "Bäder Hotels"). Turn left before the inclined bridge (orange arrow "Bäder Hotels"), pass under the archway, 2nd street on the right (orange arrow "Bäder Hotels"). You can park your car in front of the hotel for a short time to unload your luggage.
