The Entlebuch region was declared a Biosphere reserve in 2011. As the tourist centre of the UNESCO Biosphere, Sörenberg offers summer and winter recreation, variety and attractive leisure activities.

The fun starts right in the village. Because everything is already there for a full, carefree family holiday: a huge natural playground, a treetop walk, Europe's largest indoor sandpit, the adventure pool with bubble bench, waterfall, slide and paddling pool. In addition, table tennis, badminton, billiards, trampoline, table football, climbing wall, children's cinema and even a bicycle and go-kart court. But not only for children, but also for parents, we have more in it. Are you longing for a few hours of time for yourself, for example in our sauna? Our Rekalino is here for you. The team lovingly takes care of your child, with games, fun and sports ideas for every age from 2 to 14 years.The Reka Holiday Village comprises 54 apartments in a U-shaped complex - in all apartments you can enjoy the magnificent view of the mountains. As the tourist centre of the UNESCO Biosphere, Sörenberg offers its guests relaxation, variety and attractive leisure activities in both summer and winter. Family Hotels and Lodgings

Water is one of the most precious of commodities and as such has to be protected. Learn more about Entlebuch’s mysterious worlds of water while on family outings - e.g. the Karst caves on Silwängen, the mythical high and low moorlands on Salwideli and the romantic Chessiloch. Or just enjoy hiking on the Wildemme water adventure trails. Some have their own play stations, information boards and many small surprises.

This Reka holiday village is about 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Sörenberg and is located directly by walking trails and ski lifts. It consists of 54 apartments (2 to 4½ rooms) each with a furnished balcony or patio. The U-shaped facility affords magnificent views of the mountains, and gets either the morning or evening sun.

Each of the 12 Reka holiday villages in Switzerland has an indoor or outdoor swimming pool, an on-site host, the Rekalino family programme with childcare and a free loan service for baby items.
