Первое письменное упоминание об этом месте относится к 1517 году – тогда Wilden Mann был «пинте», то есть чем-то вроде таверны. Отель занимает семь старинных домов в историческом центре Люцерна. Каждый год в 1-3 номерах проводят полный ремонт. При отеле действуют два ресторана – Burgerstube, оформленный в деревенском стиле, и Sauvage (14 пунктов Gault Millau). Два самых знаменитых блюда этих ресторанов – бефстроганов и стейк Шатобриан – оба готовятся прямо перед гостем. Рядом с отелем в «котельной башне» Kesselturm находится крытая парковка.

A hotel rich in character. Experience 500 years of history. Welcome to one of Lucerne's most tradition-steeped hotels. Guests have been well looked after here for 500 years. It was originally a bar, later a tavern. We have been a hotel since 1860. Yes, the Wilden Mann certainly has seen an eventful history. You will sense this when you hear the floor and woodwork creaking as you walk along the winding passageways. Come in and be enchanted. You might well find yourself wanting to come back again. 48 lovingly furnished rooms. It is true that many of our regular guests have a favourite room - until we give them a different one. All our rooms are furnished with the greatest of care and lots of attention to detail, and each one has its own personal touch. As such, our rooms are refreshingly old-fashioned - perfect for a change of scenery. But with all the modern accoutrements, of course.
This legendary hotel, dating back to 1517, is located in the heart of Lucerne’s old town and offers tastefully decorated rooms, 2 restaurants and in summer a terrace. Parking nearby.
