With a blowgun, a crossbow or a bow you will feel like Robin Hood in the Sherwood Forest.
Throughout the country, former military fortifications and other underground complexes have been converted for a variety of purposes. As well as hotels, conference centres and event venues, you’ll find research installations open to visits by interested groups. Just before the Brünig mountain pass, close to Lucerne, you can discover such facility: the Brünig Indoor.
This boasts event spaces of various sizes up to a cavern accommodating 450 people and they even head the launch of a Mercedes Benz truck inside. Other subterranean spaces here are used for firefighting training and for testing tunnelling equipment and explosives. The venue also provides a full range of catering services.
