Дама в голубом
В своих работах Анри Матисс всегда стремился выразить гармонию. В этой картине она достигается за счет уравновешенного сочетания основных цветов – синего, желтого и красного, – к которым примешиваются черный и белый. Прямые линии и плавные изгибы ритмизируют композицию. Моделью Матиссу служила его молодая ассистентка, русская эмигрантка Лидия Делекторская, проработавшая у художника почти 22 года.
