Intro
Ущелье Горнер – одно из красивейших мест в Церматте. Оно находится примерно в 20 минутах ходьбы от южной границы курорта, добраться сюда очень легко.
Чтобы образовалось это ущелье, реке Горнере пришлось тысячи лет пробивать себе дорогу через скалу. Безопасная тропа проведет вас через ущелье по галереям и мостам, мимо причудливых каменных образований и живописных водопадов. Дорога займет порядка 15 минут, но при желании можно продолжить прогулку далее, через Блатте и Моос.
Что посмотреть и чем заняться
Hike through the Gorner Gorge (20 minutes)
Follow the secured footbridge through the narrow gorge. To the left and right, jagged rock faces rise into the air, below you thunders the turquoise-blue glacier water of the Gornera. The path leads over galleries and through short tunnels. Information boards along the way tell about the formation of the gorge.
- Good to know: Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, the paths can be wet and slippery.
Hike to the Dossen Glacier Garden (2–2.5 hours)
From the Gorner Gorge, a hiking trail leads via Blatten to the Furi mountain station and on to the Dossen Glacier Garden. From a suspension bridge at a height of 90 meters, you can look into the depths of the gorge. In the Glacier Garden, you'll see rock cirques sculpted by the water and polished rock slabs from the Ice Age.
- Good to know: Surefootedness is required, the path is steep in places.
- Tip: Combine the hike with a gondola ride from Furi back to Zermatt.
Gorge Adventure: Via ferrata through the gorge (3–4 hours)
For the adventurous, the guided via ferrata is ideal. With a mountain guide, you will cross suspension bridges, abseil down and glide over the roaring Gornera on a zipline. The tour is also suitable for beginners and can be booked all year round.

- Tip: Book your ticket online in advance, as places are limited.
