Emotions, discoveries, food for thought: The museum offers you the opportunity to get an insight into humanitarian work. Through three exhibition areas, you will immerse yourself in significant challenges of our time: Defending human dignity (Gringo Cardia, Brazil), restoring family ties (Diébédo Francis Kéré, Burkina Faso), limiting the risks of natural hazards (Shigeru Ban, Japan).
An interactive chronology traces 150 years of humanitarian history. The focus on the present allows you to follow the activities of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent at the same time.

Permanent exhibition "The Humanitarian Adventure" (1–2 hours)
Follow the movement from its beginnings in the 19th century to the challenges of tomorrow. Testimonies from helpers and those affected as well as interactive stations will give you an understanding of humanitarian work. In the Agora, a central discussion space and in the Future Area, you are invited to find your own answers.
- Good to know: The museum is under renovation until 2028, but will remain open with restrictions.
- Tip: Combine the visit with a walk through the quarters of the UN and the NGOs.
