Intro

Тропические сады «Папильорама» и «Ноктюрама» в Керцерс служат домом для растений и животных из тропиков. В «Антроподариуме» представлены членистоногие. Швейцарские сады бабочек посвящены местным видам этих насекомых.

И днем и ночью тропический лес полон жизни. Бесчисленные виды животных обитают в джунглях, где произрастают самые разные растения. В тропических садах Papiliorama и Nocturama в Керцерсе, посетители могут открыть для себя потрясающий мир тропиков, обойдясь без перелета на другой конец света.

Более 1000 тропических бабочек и редких колибри обитают здесь. Посетители могут увидеть самые необычные картины из мира животных в Nocturama. Свод купола меняет дневное освещение на лунную ночь. А ночью большие прожекторы имитируют дневной свет. Admire tropical butterflies at Papiliorama (30-45 minutes)

In the 1200 square metre tropical garden, over 1000 butterflies of more than 60 species fly freely around you. At the hatching box you can see how butterflies hatch from their pupae. Between palm trees and tropical flowers, you will also meet nectar birds, collared pigeons and rays in recreated river basins.

Good to know: The tropical garden has a tropical climate of around 30 degrees.
Tip: If you want to experience active butterflies, it's best to come in the morning.

Observe nocturnal animals at Nocturama (20-30 minutes)

The Nocturama reverses the day-night rhythm: Thanks to filtered light, there is a full moon night atmosphere during the day. After a short acclimatization to the darkness, you will observe sloths, night monkeys, aardvarks and bats up close. Many enclosures are semi-open.

Good to know: Photography with flash is not allowed in the Nocturama.
Tip: If you move slowly and quietly, you don't disturb the animals and experience them actively.

Visit the Jungle Trek (20-30 minutes)

The facility under the Jungle Trek glass dome replicates the tropical forest in Belize. Here you will meet toucans, iguanas and raccoons on 1200 square meters. A 7-metre-high panoramic bridge leads into the treetops. An exhibition provides information about the protection of tropical forests.

Good to know: Toucans and iguanas roam freely in the cathedral.
Tip: Combine the visit with the natural playground and petting zoo in the outdoor area.
