Intro
Paul Klee Center, открытый в 2005 году, посвящен личности, жизни и творчеству Пауля Клее (1879-1940). Здесь находится крупнейшая в мире коллекция его работ. Пауль Клее считается одним из самых значимых художников XX столетия.
Около 4000 работ (40% всего наследия) известного художника Пауля Клее находится в Центре Пауля Клее, это крупнейшая в мире коллекция. Необычной архитектуры здание имеет вид волны, и было создано итальянским мастером Ренцо Пьяно. Кроме выставок Центр Пауля Клее предлагает площадку для музыки, театральных постановок, танца и литературы.
Здание музея было построено итальянским архитектором Ренцо Пьяно, победителем нескольких конкурсов. Он создал зеленый остров, на котром выросли холмы из стали и стекла. Они вмещают выставочное пространство, музыкальный зал и площадку для мероприятий, детский музей, конференц-залы и залы для семинаров.
Экспозиция Клее регулярно меняется, в ней одновременно представлено от 120 до 150 работ из коллекции музея, сюжеты постоянно меняются.
Детский музей «Креатива» - пространство для воображени и творчества. Через выражение собственных идей, осваивая технику и сюжеты великих мастеров, дети вовлекаются в процесс обучения, посредством практики и творчества.

Marvel at Paul Klee's work (1–2 hours)
The permanent exhibition "Kosmos Klee" shows changing works from the extensive collection. You will see paintings, watercolors and drawings from all of the artist's creative periods. Audio guides and digital tours deepen your understanding of Klee's art.
- Good to know: With the combined ticket you also visit the Museum of Fine Arts Bern.
- Tip: The museum includes a field that you can discover on a walk.
Get creative at Creaviva (1-2 hours)
In the Creaviva children's studio, you can create your own works of art with your children – under guidance and with space for your own ideas. The workshops are aimed at children from the age of 4 and there are also courses for adults. The Creaviva provides you with knowledge and techniques and at the same time leaves room for your own creativity.
- Good to know: The open studio takes place several times a day.
- Tip: The five-franc workshop offers quick creativity for in between.
In Klee's footsteps through Bern (2 hours)
Under the title "Paths to Klee", you will walk through Bern on three themed trails. Depending on the route, the Zentrum Paul Klee Museum is the destination or starting point. You will walk past Klee's childhood home, the quarries that inspired him and his grave in the Schosshalden cemetery. Information boards along the way tell of the artist's life.
- Good to know: The shortest route is 4 kilometres long, the longest route is 6.5 kilometres.
