يتميّز فال دي تارفيرس بصناعة الساعات و تمتدّ من بحيرة نيونبرغ عبر اليورا على طول الحدود الفرنسية. مناجم الإسفلت و سيرك الصخر في كروا دو فان تشكّل ملامح فال دي تافيرس بالإضافة إلى إنتاج النبيذ الرائع و قطارات البخار. ومع ذلك، فإنّ النجمة السرية للوادي هي "غرونه في" (الحورية الخضراء).

هضبةٌ متموّجةٌ قليلاً على ارتفاع 1000 متر فوق سطح البحر، تتميّز بمراعيها الكبيرة، و شجر الصنوبر و غابات التنوب فضلاّ عن مزارع شخصيةٍ بيضاء والتي تحتوي على الحظائر و أماكن السكن كلها تقع تحت سقفٍ واحد: هذه هي جبال فرايبورغ الجوراسية.
