From the Hallau wine region, the route leads through the extensive forests of the Randen hill chain, over the old high-level trail to Schaffhausen. On the way: superb views from towers on the Randen and from the elevated villages of Büttenhardt and Lohn.

The hike from Siebnen to St. Meinrad is uphill. But efforts are rewarded and not only with views of the Obersee. The St. Meinrad Chapel and Inn both make an impression with their long history and stunning location on the Etzelpass.

The Principality of Liechtenstein offers plenty of sightseeing attractions. One of the idyllic routes leads from the tiny, peaceful village of Steg to Valüna. The stretch is set in a wonderful natural world and offers unadulterated relaxation.

The panoramic Braunwald path proposes a unique hiking experience by which you never lose sight of the mountains; although there’s a good chance you may be distracted by the beauty of Alpine flowers and the plant world.

The Thur now flows eastwards and straightened through the principality. There is hardly any altitude difference to overcome on the embankment and through shady forest. The Huserfelsen cliffs just before the cantonal border are the only notable elevation. After this the trail ascends to Bischofszell.

At the start, hikers are accompanied by the tones of the Klangweg (Sound Trail) and the myths of the Sagenweg (Legend Trail). This is followed by inspiring views of the Churfirsten mountains. The stage destination, the Vordere Selunalp is located close to the prehistoric Wildenmannlisloch caves.

This route leads from Schaffhausen up to the Jura heights. From there you follow a circular path into the Eschheimtal valley. The path is, sometimes wooded, sometimes lined by meadows and fields and will gladden the heart of anyone seeking tranquillity and relaxation.

The Thur flows between the Churfirsten and Säntis Massif through the Canton of St. Gallen toward the canton to which it has lent its name. A well-known personality, Ulrich Bräker (1735-1798) was a citizen of Wattwil. Why not read his lifestory “The Poor Man of Tokkenburg“ (“Der arme Mann vom Tokkenburg”) as spiritual preparation? In any case, the fantastic landscape in the green valley can be thoroughly enjoyed at all times.

The wine trail passes through the vineyards of Weinfelden, Boltshausen and Ottoberg. More than 30 information boards along the way share fascinating facts about vines, types of grape, vinification and winegrowers.

This route starts in Bendern in the Principality of Liechtenstein and leads mainly along the Rhine dam. The wide, smoothly surfaced path and breathtaking views make this an ideal leisure area.

This tour leads from the most rewarding Glarner Unterland mountain; with stupendous panorama views over the Linthebene and the Zurich and Walensee lakes. On a clear day, views extend even as far as the Black Forest and environs.

One-day hike in the cultivated countryside of Randen, from Schleitheim through the valley, Randental, to the highest point of Randen at 912 m, from where, via Hagen, you reach Merishausen. The focal point of this hike is the impressive countryside and nature.

The Schaffhausen border trail connects the overwhelming hydro power of the Rhine Falls with the lovingly tended vines of the pretty winegrowing region Wilchingen-Osterfingen. Geology and botany are the focus of this hike.

The Alpine Panorama Trail from Bodensee to Lac Léman promises many views of Alpine peaks as well as of the Mittelland and Jura. The route leads through the traditional agricultural landscape of the Alpine foothills, still dominated by milk and cheese production.
