This luxurious hotel has been appreciated by celebrities and royal families alike since opening its doors in 1896 – Alfred Hitchcock, for example, was one of its loyal guests. The impressive lobby is adorned by art from various periods. The adjacent Chesa Veglia, an Engadin farmhouse from the 16th century, is one of the oldest farmhouses in St Moritz and has belonged to Badrutt's Palace Hotel since 1928.

アクセス情報

By car: from the north part of Switzerland take the highway A 13 as far as Thusis - from there the roads lead into Engadine valley over the Julier Pass. During the winter season drivers have the choice of driving over the pass or loading the car on the train from Thusis to Samedan. By railway: Intercity connections lead to Chur (change train) continuing with the Rhätische Bahn directly to St. Moritz. From Milano: "Bernina Express" - take train to Lecco - Tirano - from where the scenic and picturesque ride brings you up to the Bernina Pass - St. Moritz.
