Intro
Our love story with Switzerland began 6 years ago when Vinnie, took me to Lucerne to visit some close friends of him. Neither of us had ever been, and we had no idea what to expect. It was one of the most magical trips of our life. we both were completely head over heels in love with the country and the people. We wanted to stay forever.
Our choice
Fast forward to our engagement 4 years later, and we were both still swooning over Switzerland. After weeks and weeks of researching and deliberating, we came to a conclusion: we were going to have a very small, intimate, destination wedding near Lucerne.

Our dream Swiss wedding experience.
The Swiss-Chalet Merlischachen was bursting with authentic Swiss character, and provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. Each and every one of our vendors were exceptional, providing the highest quality of service, and all while remaining patient with an American bride attempting to communicate through FaceTime from over 4,000 miles away. We felt so comfortable and so well taken care of the entire time. I am still to this day overwhelmed by the outpour of love we were shown.
Without our planner Valerie of ToGather Wedding & Events, none of this would have been possible. The highlight of our wedding experience, by far, was the people.
