In the picturesque setting of Castel San Pietro, amid historic alleys, rural courtyards, and landscapes awash with autumnal hues, the event will offer a day dedicated to traditions, local flavors, and conviviality.
The chestnut, a symbol of rural culture and the autumn season, will be the focus of numerous culinary offerings: roasted chestnuts, traditional sweets, jams, traditional Ticino dishes, and regional specialties prepared by local associations and volunteers.
The program will also include folk music, children's entertainment, and opportunities to discover the traditions of Mendrisiotto. The event aims to showcase not only local products, but also the cultural and landscape heritage of one of the most characteristic villages in southern Ticino.
