Barroom Chatter
Overview
Intro
Theater - End of Residency
At the café, Billie, a nostalgic waitress, opens up about her job, her love life, her dreams, and her struggles. The story shifts from the funny to the tragic, from the philosophical to the intimate, at a pace that mirrors the ups and downs of her daily life. *Confidences de comptoir* is about dreams—the dream of changing one’s life, but also the dream of a better world. “I dream so I can keep on living, because reality is too painful.”
