The Foliage Train travels in autumn through forests, gorges, bridges and characteristic villages between Switzerland and Italy.
An autumn journey with views
The Foliage Train offers a panoramic ride through the autumn landscapes of Centovalli and Valle Vigezzo. Golden woods, red and orange tones, alpine views and villages surrounded by nature define this seasonal rail experience.
Along the route
In less than two hours, the line crosses gorges, bridges, forests and characteristic villages on one of the most scenic railway routes between Switzerland and Italy.
Notes
- Tickets are available online or at La Biglietteria FART in Locarno.
- Due to high demand, travelling on weekdays from Monday to Friday is strongly recommended whenever possible.
