Tango Saturdays in Aigle – Dance, Discovery, and Sharing
Every other Saturday, join us in Aigle for an afternoon of dance, discovery, and sharing centered around Argentine tango!
Tango Saturdays are an invitation to discover this dance, deepen your practice, and share a friendly moment, regardless of your experience level.
Two parallel programs, so there’s something for everyone:
First Steps – Introduction to Argentine Tango
Never danced tango before? This class is for you!
Through a gradual and accessible approach, discover the basics of Argentine tango: walking, the first steps, connecting with your partner, and the essentials for starting to dance—and, above all, having fun.
No prior experience is necessary. Come alone or with a partner!
Themed Workshop – Explore and Deepen Your Dance
For those with some tango experience, each session features a workshop centered on a different theme: musicality, connection, technique, improvisation, or exploration of movement.
Our approach emphasizes understanding movement, the quality of connection, expression, and the joy of dancing, all in a supportive atmosphere.
Standalone sessions, continuous progress
Each session is independent and can be attended separately, depending on your preferences and availability. However, for those who wish to progress, deepen their understanding, and develop their dancing, we strongly encourage regular participation. It’s through consistent practice that movements become more natural and the joy of dancing grows!
Águila’Tango Open Practice – Dance and Share
After the classes, let’s get together for an hour of open practice, open to participants from both groups as well as dancers who simply want to come and dance.
A chance to put what you’ve learned that afternoon into practice, meet other enthusiasts, and enjoy dancing together.
