Intro

Laura Vogt will read from her latest book, accompanied by Marc Jenny.

At this matinee, Laura Vogt will read from her latest book, *Das Jahr des Kalks*—with musical accompaniment by Marc Jenny on the double bass. The novel centers on Alina, who is caring for her dying uncle while also coming to terms with the loss of her father. A fascinating book about transience and reconciliation.
