Nordic Weekend 2026

Swiss-Ski’s Nordic disciplines will gather in Andermatt and Realp on August 22 and 23, 2026, for the 17th edition of the largest off-snow event in Switzerland’s cross-country skiing and biathlon scene.

The Nordic Weekend consists of the following elements:

- Cross-country skiing and biathlon competitions

- Product presentations by companies from the Swiss Ski Pool

- Entertainment

PROGRAM:

Saturday, August 22, 2026

Shortened individual competition with penalty time per missed shot (biathlon)

- 8:00 a.m. – Race number distribution, air rifle barracks in Realp

- 9:00–10:20 a.m. – Warm-up shooting, Realp biathlon facility

- 10:30 a.m. – Start at the roller ski track, Realp Biathlon Facility

Classic-style roller ski uphill race (cross-country skiing)

- Starting at 8:45 a.m. – Race number distribution, Trattoria Macolin Andermatt

- 10:00 a.m. – Start for women, junior, and elite categories, Andermatt Wiler

- 10:25 a.m. – Start for men, junior, and elite categories, Andermatt Wiler

Roller Ski Skating Race (Cross-Country and Biathlon)

- Starting at 9:30 a.m. – Junior Women’s start at the roller ski track, Biathlon Realp

- 10:10 a.m. – Elite Women’s start at the roller ski track, Biathlon Realp

- 10:45 a.m. – Start for junior men at the roller ski track, Biathlon Realp

- 11:15 a.m. – Start for elite men at the roller ski track, Biathlon Realp

- 12:15 p.m. – Awards ceremony, Zeughaus Realp

Product Presentations

- 2:00–5:00 p.m. - Presentation of the latest products by partners, Multipurpose Hall

Entertainment

- 9:30 a.m. – Meet at Trattoria Macolin Andermatt

- 9:45 a.m. – Cable car ride to the Nätschen midway station

- 10:00 a.m. – Watch the celebrity roller ski race

- 10:45 a.m. Mountain run (4x1 km, starting every 10 minutes)

- 12:00 p.m. – Lunch at Gütsch

- 1:00 p.m. – Train ride to Andermatt

- 1:20 p.m. – Meet at the multipurpose hall

- 1:30–3:00 p.m. – Three stations, 45 minutes each, in rotation

- 3:45 p.m. – Autograph session with Swiss-Ski athletes, multipurpose hall
