VERNISSAGE - STILLLEBEN
Beide Künstler leben und arbeiten in Tiflis Georgien. Sie arbeiteten einige Jahre intensiv an einer Weiterentwicklung der Miniatur. Sie haben diese Technik so weiterentwickelt, dass es Ihnen immer wieder gelingt, die Grenze zwischen Moderne und mittelalterlicher Buchmalerei sehr eindrücklich zu formulieren.
Heute malen und zeichnen sie in verschiedenen Techniken. Mischtechnik auf Holz, Kunststoff, Eisen und Leinwand. Oelpastell auf Papier. Ikonen in Eitempara auf Holz und Fresken in traditioneller Technik mit Pigmenten auf frischem Kalkputz.
