Swiss National Day - Leysin

Intro
Traditions and a touch of madness are on the programme for the National Day celebrations in Leysin!
### Programme for the day:
**In the village :**
**Colline du Corbelets:**
6am: Diane, flag raising, coffee & croissants offered by the Commune of Leysin.
**Aigle - Leysin race :**
From 8am: [Alpes Vaudoises Half-Marathon](https://aigleleysin.ch/)
**Place Large:**
Throughout the day, there will be light refreshments and a variety of entertainment.
* From 11.30 am: Alps horns – Trio Solacyre
* 2.00 pm – 4.30 pm: Accordion ensemble by Ac'cord
* From 3.00 pm: Start of entertainment (face painting, bouncy castle, etc.)
* 7.45 pm: La Rose des Alpes brass band
* 8.15 pm: Official ceremony with a speech by Ms Laurence Habegger, Mayor of Leysin, followed by the national anthem
* 8.30 pm – 10.45 pm: Concert by ‘Funk Therapy’
* 10 pm: Fireworks (weather permitting)
From 11pm, the evening continues in the bars of Leysin:
* Station Rock Café at Feydey
* L'Embuscade in the village centre
