Under the motto “Nus essan unics” (“We Are Unique”), historian and filmmaker Gieri Venzin presents several cinematic treasures from his archive. These films document the distinctive features and specialties of Tujetsch, highlighting what is unique to the upper Surselva valley and what is common to all places. The films focus primarily on the radical changes that the people of Tujetsch have undergone in recent decades. How and why has Val Tujetsch become what it is today? Where does it stand now? Quo vadis, Tujetsch?
