山峰 in 伯爾尼高地 Bernese Oberland

A very striking and popular four-thousander on the Bern–Valais cantonal border. It can be easily recognised by its peak, which looks a little like a shark’s fin.

As the name of this four-thousander suggests, the Schreckhorn is the Bernese Alps’ most challenging four-thousander (“Schrecken” is the German word for “terror”). Not many are actually scared off by it though – the mountain is climbed pretty regularly.

680 meters above the Adelboden village street is where you find the Schwandfeldspitz – with top views over the Engstligen Valley, Lohner, Wildstrubel as far as the Wildhorn.

阿德爾博登 Adelboden和倫克 Lenk之間的山隘地區長久以來一直用作馬匹和馬車的通道，這區於1905年建成了第一間酒店，從1936年冬天開始，號稱Funi-雪橇滑道巳成功實現了。

The Hinter Fiescherhorn only rises slightly above the firn line between the three peaks of the Fiescherhorn massif. It has nevertheless earned the right to be recognised as a separate four-thousand-metre peak, and a popular one at that.

As part of the three famous peaks, the Mönch is extremely popular, and not just with mountaineers. But the mountain is very challenging and should not be underestimated, no matter how many visitors it has.

從遊船上欣賞到如明信片般的美景 – 更可於圖恩湖 Lake Thun之上有陽光台地稱號的貝阿滕貝格 Beatenberg作短程遊覽。此外，前往Gemmenalphorn峰方向沿途能一覽艾格峰 Eiger，僧侶峰 Mönch和少女峰的壯麗全景，還可一睹野山羊 ibex的風采。

這座近乎完美的金字塔形山峰曾激發了許多藝術家繪畫靈感，當中包括費廸南·霍德勒 Ferdinand Hodler (1909)，保羅·克利 Paul Klee (1915) 和庫諾·阿密特 Cuno Amiet (1926)。從Mülenen乘纜車只需30分鐘便可抵達這座海拔2,362公尺高的金字塔山峰。

The Grosses Fiescherhorn is entirely surrounded by glaciers and is a real eye-catcher, in particular because of its impressive steep north face. It lies on the Bern–Valais cantonal border.
