The oldest managed mountain hut in Zermatt accompanied the beginnings of tourism and alpinism as early as 1850, when the Matterhorn had not yet been climbed and the Blatten was still a small teahouse.

Since the winter of 2015, the restaurant Ried directly on the ski slope belongs to Z'ART. We are very happy to welcome you all soon on the mountain if possible.

Also in terms of culinary delights we are the somewhat different mountain restaurant. Holger's great experience in vegetarian cuisine is reflected in our curry dishes.

On the Sunnegga - a name that spells sunshine even for those not familiar with the Valais dialect - the sun appears to shine from dawn until dusk. And owing to its close proximity to the "Sunnegga Express" mountain station, the restaurant is an ideal meeting place even for those who don’t ski.
