After passing through a gorge of 200 meters depth at the entrance to the valley on a spectacular footpath, the holiday village of Salvan can be reached further up on a sunny plateau, and still a little farther away, Les Marécottes. A cable car provides easy access to the hiking and skiing paradise of La Creusaz.

The Moosalp Region is an authentic Alpine mountain landscape that is ideal for nature-lovers interested in sports, culture and recreation. The villages at the foot of Moosalp offer a fantastic, sweeping view of the Rhone Valley, the Mischabel Chain, the Weisshorn Group and the Valaisian and Bernese Alps.

The Val Surses Savognin Bivio holiday region is located right in the heart of Graubünden, surrounded by Switzerland's largest nature park, Parc Ela. The small spa town of Bad Zurzach is located in the picturesque Rhine landscape of Canton Aargau, which is dotted with spa resorts. The waterways and Saint Verena have shaped the resort town. Today the thermal baths, hiking and biking trails and the charming village center are major attractions.

The resort of Beckenried (435 m) is on the south bank of Lake Lucerne at the foot of the Klewenalp with views of the popular and famous Rigi mountain on the other side of the lake. Near to Beckenried, on the panoramic terrace high above the lake, lie the villages of Emmetten and Seelisberg. Cable-cars provide access to the family-friendly walking and skiing area of Klewenalp and Stockhütte.

At an altitude of 900 metres, Orsières is home to a number of architectural treasures, the undisputable jewel in the crown being the church and its bell-tower.

Siders (French: Sierre), pleasantly situated on a number of hills and nestling among vineyards, is a small town in the Valais blessed with a great deal of sunshine. In Indemini, the houses are all built of local grey gneiss rock, with slate roofs and wooden outbuildings. This typical Ticino village with its twisty alleyways is in a quiet, almost lonely location behind the hills of the Gambarogno south of Lake Maggiore.

The village and its many hamlets was founded in 1290, but was first documented in 1305. Together with Täsch it belonged to the municipality of Naters until 1552, at which point it became part of the municipality of Visp. The name Randa probably comes from the word "Rand" meaning border.
