The botanical garden Alpinum Schatzalp is privately run through the Berghotel Schatzalp. The Alpinum is at an average altitude of over 1800 meters and covers a total area of approx. 5 hectares. Numerous different habitats merge into one another and form the most diverse Locations for plant collections such as edelweiss, gentian, bluebells and much more.

Jumping in cross-country skis? It can be done – and worth trying out! Just in front of the cross-country centre, a slope has been prepared that offers a novel way of getting into cross-country skiing.

A four-person gondola and 7 other ski lifts transport Madrisa fans to a mountain area that boasts a great variety of sports and leisure activities – 30km of pistes, an 7,7km tobogganing run and 3,5km of winter hiking trails. The highlight of the cable cars and mountain railways here is the six-seater Schaffürggli chair lift: as the most modern chair lift in Switzerland right now, it features heated seats, a hood and fully automatic closing and opening for wheelchair users.

Silvretta Park in Klosters offers children a wonderful playground specially designed to satisfy their every wish.

In the 13th century, the German-speaking Walsers settled the mountainous areas in Davos and Klosters. In the remotest area of the romantic side valley of Sertig, farming settlements still dominate the landscape.

The Jakobshorn in the mountains of Davos Klosters is the ultimate freestyle mountain. The JatzPark on the Jakobshorn is very popular and widely known.

Skiing - A real treat on Parsenn. In terms of size and wide slopes Parsenn takes some beating - and the Gotschnabahn or Parsenn rail takes snow sports enthusiasts from Davos and Klosters directly to the ski area in just a few minutes.

Ernst Ludwig Kirchner moved from Germany to Davos in 1917, in the hope of overcoming his tablet addiction. The expressionist spent the last 20 years of his life painting in the Graubünden mountains. His works are today admired in the Kirchner Museum - a highly regarded construction by the architects Gigon / Guyer.

A place for anyone who seeks peace and quiet, appreciates nature and wants to experience history. The historic hotel and Alpine landscape are what makes this spot 300 metres above Davos so special.

Cross-country skiing and working as a team can be beautifully combined in Davos Klosters: “Kurz krampfa, lang laufa” (work hard, ski harder!) is the name of the service offered to companies wanting to host a special team event with their employees.

The Parsenn funicular climbs the Weissfluhjoch in two sections much like an express train. With the Davos landscape below us, the view extends as far as Piz Kesch, the Bernina and 60 kilometres to the south.
