Surveying and simultaneously travelling along the «Bödeli», the wet land between lakes Brienz and Thun. The «Bödeli» route links a conurbation centre with nature, as well as a modern tourism destination with medieval churches and castle ruins.

Along the Lütschine up to Grindelwald, the glacier village at the foot of the majestic Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau peaks, on over Grosse Scheidegg, past Rosenlauischlucht (gorge) and the Reichenbach Falls, where Sherlock Holmes fell to his death, to Meiringen.

An easy tour with trail highlights in the isolated Kiental. The stamina-sapping ascent on asphalt from Frutigen is rewarded with views over the Engstligental and a loop to the imposing, mysterious Bunderle rock basin with its thundering waterfall.

This tour is marked by its breath-taking views of emerald-green Lake Brienz, unsurfaced tracks and panoramic trails. The highlight is the hanging bridge above Ebligen. Lake Brienz is an inviting place to bathe in summer.
