The Walser people settled in Schlappin in the 14th century. Through the protective forest up to the area of Saaser alp. Karst landscape on Rätschenjoch, former mining area in «Butzchammera», rockfall landscape in Gafital, scattered settlements on the slopes, at the end a closed-off settlement in St. Antönien Platz.

Scenic bridges and spectacular gorges are the highlights of the Flims waterway or “Trutg dil Flem” in Swiss Romansh.

이 구간의 하이라이트가 스위스 유라의 가장 높은 지점인 몽 텅드르(Mont Tendre)의 방대한 초원을 건널 때라는 데는 의심이 여지가 없다. 보(Vaud) 주와 레만(Léman) 호수의 기막힌 절경을 보여주는 산이다. 맑은 날이면 알프스와 보주 산맥(Vosges)의 푸른 능선까지 활짝 펼쳐진 파노라마가 한 눈에 들어온다.

몽트뢰 리비에라 고원을 걷다 - 5월 수선화로 뒤덮인 초원, 숲, 제네바 호수와 알프스를 가로지르는 경치를 즐긴다. 스위스에서 처음 만들어진 스키 리조트 중 하나였던 벨 에포크 스타일의 마을인 레자방(Les Avants)이 출발점이자 도착점이다.

센다 세간티니(Senda Segantini)는 특별한 하이킹 코스로, 비교 불가능한 엥가딘(Engadin) 및 수르세터(Sursetter) 산악 지대를 통과한다. 사실주의와 상징주의를 결합한 거장이자 이탈리아 화가 조반니 세간티니(Giovanni Segantini, 1858 -1899)의 발자취를 따라간다.

Best views of glacier snout and lower part of Aletsch Glacier from Aletschbor. Over a hanging bridge to Aletschwald (forest) with 100-year-old Swiss stone pines. Villa Cassel looms like an eagle's nest on the Riederfurka ridge, surrounded by the magnificent Valais mountains.

이곳의 뷰는 타의 추종을 불허한다. 몬테 레마(Monte Lema)에서 몬테 타마로(Monte Tamaro)까지 이어지는 이 능선 하이킹은 스위스 고공 하이킹의 클래식이다. 주변 계곡을 넘어 레벤티나(Leventina) 지역에서 서쪽으로는 발레 알프스(Valais Alps), 동쪽으로는 그라우뷘덴 알프스(Graubünden Alps)까지 펼쳐져 이 파노라마는 가히 독보적이다.

세계신기록을 경신한 란다의 현수교에서 저 깊은 심연을 내려다보는 것은 정말이지 스릴 넘치는 체험이다. 이 다리는 그레헨에서 체르마트를 잇는 긴 하이킹 트레일을, 아찔한 높이로 연결한다. 이틀간 이어지는 투어에서 마테호른, 바이스호른, 베르너 알프스의 멋진 파노라마 뷰를 감상할 수 있다.

반대편으로 아이거(Eiger), 묀히(Mönch), 융프라우(Jungfrau) 산이 펼쳐지는 트레일은 뮈렌(Mürren)을 통과해 아늑한 로츠톡휘테(Rotstockhütte)를 지나, 기막힌 뷰가 나타나는 제피넨푸어게 고개(Sefinenfurgge Pass)로 올라간다. 트레일은 킨(Kien) 계곡으로 이어진 후, 그리잘프(Griesalp)까지 이어지는 내리막이 시작된다. 모든 재미를 조금씩 체험할 수 있는 구간이다.

4세기에 걸친 역사적인 건물들과 절경의 풍경이 펼쳐지는 3 세대의 길 위에서 와일드한 곤도쉴루흐트(Gondoschlucht) 계곡을 건너게 된다. 옛 군대 막사가 있었던 심플론(Simplon)의 역사와 곤도(Gondo)의 슈톡칼퍼투름(Stockalperturm)도 살펴볼 수 있다.

An excursion into the La Grande Cariçaie nature reserve offers a particularly special experience. One of the routes starts in Yvonand and leads along the southeast shore of Lac de Neuchâtel as far as Estavayer-le-Lac. A divine route through marshlands and lakeside woodlands.

비아스플루가(ViaSpluga)는 문화적이며 진정 매력적인 경관을 통하여 장거리를 걷게 되는 하이킹 트레일이다. 이 트레일은 65km 길이로 투시스(Thusis)에서 시작하여 비아말라 협곡(Viamala Gorge), 로플라(Roffla) 협곡을 통해 자갈길을 걸어 슈플뤼겐 패스를 넘어 키아벤나(Chiavenna)까지 이르게 된다. 슈플뤼겐의 발써 마을에서 시작하여 이태리의 이졸라까지 가게 되는 세 번째 스테이지까지, 가장 아름다운 역사 유적지를 루트를 걸어 가는 도중에 발견하게 될 것이다.

At the Urnersee lake, Suvorov was unable to proceed any further as the French had seized all boats. So the ViaSuworow follows the route of the Russians from Altdorf into the Schächental valley, where cobbled cattle tracks bordered by drystone walling lead to Biel-Chinzig.

Peace in the nature reserve around Lac de Derborence, then ascent via Lac de la Forcla to the Col de la Forcla. Descent face to face with the mighty walls of the Grand and Petit Muveran to Ovronnaz and a relaxing time in the thermal spa.

Through the wide, open mountain landscape of the Upper Engadine from S-chanf via Zuoz and Samedan to Pontresina. Picturesque villages with old manor houses and hotel buildings from the era of belle époque, alternating with a unique natural landscape.

바겐하우젠 프로프슈타이 교회(Wagenhausen Propstei church)와 생 카타리넨탈 수도원(St. Katharinental Monastery), 알트 파라디스(Alt Paradies)를 지나는 라인 강둑을 따라 펼쳐진 평탄한 길. 역사적인 요새가 있는 샤렌발트(Schaarenwald) 자연보호구역과 샤프하우젠을 지난다.

Picturesque and rugged ravines that could almost be called fiords open up after Les Brenets. Polished by natural forces, the rock faces have the shape of a human face and the head of a legendary monster. The trail leads to the Saut du Doubs, a spectacular, 27m high waterfall.

The section leads alongside the River Aare to the Weissenau nature reserve on the Thunersee lake. From Neuhaus it continues through woodland, often with clear views of the lake and the Bernese Alps. The Beatushöhlen (caves), former place of pilgrimage of St. Beatus are particularly impressive.

“매우 드넓은 경관을 굽어다 보는 가파른 절벽 사면이 있는 산악 지대와 계곡 지대가 나란히 있네”라고 이 지역 민요 가사에서 읊조려 지고 있다. 랑엔브룩에서 시작하여 파스방까지 이어지는 산악 길은 가사 그대로 확실히 하이라이트를 선보여 준다. 노래에서 언급된 적어도 세 곳 이상의 절벽 사면들을 오르게 된다.

해발고도 2778m의 호흐튀를리(Hohtürli)를 넘는 제왕의 구간이다. 블뤼엠리스알프휘테(Blüemlisalphütte)와 만년 빙하로 돌아가는 여정은 보상 받기 충분하다. 빙하의 모레인(maraine)과 가파른 절벽을 배경으로 한 짙푸른 외쉬넨제(Oeschinensee) 호수까지 내려가는 여정이 아름답다. 알프스에서 제일 아름다운 산정호수로 꼽히는 호수 중 하나인 외쉬넨제다.

이곳에는 아직까지 진정한 의미의 야생이 살아 있다. 스위스 국립공원을 지나는 탁 트인 트레일을 통해 이 야생을 가장 인상적으로 경험할 수 있다.

비아유라(ViaJura)는 바젤(Basel)에서 델스베르크(Delsberg)를 지나 빌(Biel)까지 이어지며 비르스(Birs) 및 쉬스(Schüss) 계곡을 통과한다. 유서 깊은 지역을 지나는데, 전설이 깃든 글뢰글리펠스 고개(Glögglifelspass), 노출된 몽 레뫼(Mont Raimeux) 산, 로마 암석 아치인 피에르 페르튀(Pierre Pertuis) 등을 볼 수 있다.

떼뜨 드 랑(Tête de Ran)과 몽 라신(Mont Racine) 산 봉우리가 있는 산맥 위에서 펼쳐지는 기막힌 절경을 감상할 수 있는 구간이다. 누아래귀(Noiraigue)로 향하는 가파른 내리막을 시작하기 전에 로셰 데 따블레뜨(Rocher des Tablettes)에서 뉴샤텔(Neuchâtel) 호수 아래로 펼쳐지는 절경을 즐길 수 있다.

15킬로미터 길이의 이 트레일은 사색하며 하이킹을 할 수 있는 즐거움을 안겨주는 곳으로, 수베와 생 우르잔 사이를 잇고 있는 스위스에서 가장 아름다운 “워터 트레일(물길)” 중 하나이다.

The tour takes you to Eastern Switzerland's Grand Canyon, the Ofenloch. This spectacular gorge is an insiders' tip for hikers and explorers, due to its remote location between Neckertal and Toggenburg.

Val de Ruz is proving ideal hiking country. Striking, the numerous village fountains and massive church towers. Engollon has the only murals in Canton Neuchâtel which date back to before the Reformation. Descent to Neuchâtel, with superb views.

절경의 제네바 시골 풍경으로 나가 아르브(Arve)와 론(Rhône) 강 사이에 자리한 포도밭 사이를 거닐 수 있다. 라 플랜(La Plaine)에서 아뷜리(Avully), 아뷔시(Avusy), 세쥬냥(Sézegnin), 소랄(Soral), 라코넥스(Laconnex), 륄리(Lully), 바르도넥스(Bardonnex) 마을을 지나 라 크루아 드 로종(La Croix-de-Rozon)에 닿게 된다.

다양한 루트가 여행자를 기다리고 있다! 유람선을 타고 벡기스(Weggis)까지 간 뒤, 공중 케이블카를 타고 리기 칼트바트(Rigi-Kaltbad)의 마을 광장, 도르프플라츠(Dorfplatz)에 오를 수 있다. 마을 그 자체가 대단한 체험이 되어주는 곳이다. 하지만 진정한 하이라이트는 섄첼리(Chänzeli)까지 이어지는 구간이다.

The trail leads alongside the Klöntalersee (lake) between mighty cliff faces down to Glarus. Anyone chancing a dip in the Klöntalsee may find the Russian war chest. It's reputed to have been sunk in the lake as the French attacked.

길 없는 고타드(Gotthard)가 무슨 의미일까? 비아고타르도(ViaGottardo)는 중앙 알프스 고개로 이어지는데, 남쪽으로는 키아쏘(Chiasso), 북동쪽으로는 샤프하우젠(Schaffhausen), 북서쪽으로는 바젤(Basel)에서부터 시작된다. 가는 길에 교통 요지의 흔적을 많이 발견할 수 있다.

Solothurn, known as a magnificent baroque town, also has picturesque spots on the River Aare to discover on this route. The riverside path quickly leaves the bustling town behind and takes you into a relaxing natural world.
