The beautiful hilly landscape around Langnau in Emmental is characterised by lush meadows, quiet forests and breathtaking views of the tops of the Bernese Alps and the Jura mountains.

湾曲するアーレ川に囲まれた土地をいかして1191年ツェーリンゲン公ベルヒトルト5世によって造られた町がはじまり。13世紀から自由都市となりさらに発展していった美しい旧市街は、1983年にユネスコの世界文化遺産に登録されました。

Traveling from Lake Thun in a westerly direction, the Simmen Valley opens up. The pyramid-shaped Niesen and the Stockhorn preside over the imposing entrance to the valley. The hiking-mountain and vantage point beckon with an imposing panoramic view of 200 peaks.

The Diemtigtal, winner of the 1986 Wakker Award, is an idyllic, 16-km long side valley of the Simmental Valley, which is noted for its natural beauty. There are many offers, which are compatible with sustainable tourism, all of them ideal for families and vacationers in search of rest and relaxation.

The village of Lenk lies right at the top of the Simmental in the Bernese Oberland, in a wide, flat valley against probably the most beautiful mountain backdrop in the Alps, the Wildstrubel. The tranquil holiday location has around 2,300 inhabitants and can be reached by car or train. The village lies at 1,068 m a.s.l., while the highest peak is the Wildstrubel at 3,244 m a.s.l. Wooden Simmental chalets as well as Alpine and mountain farming are typical for the green, tradition-steeped valley. In the winter, the Ski area “Adelboden-Lenk… dänk!” is popular and outdoor experiences can be enjoyed in the spring, summer and autumn.

The picturesque village is nestled between two mountain chains, at the lower shore of Lake Brienz with meadows and picturesque wooden houses, some of which date back to the 16th century.

ベルンの東に広がる丘陵地帯はエンメ川が流れる広い谷。スイスを代表する“穴あきチーズ”の里としておなじみ。一帯には緑の牧草地が広がり、牛がのんびりと草を食む、のどかな風景が続いています。大きな屋根、美しい花が飾られたバルコニー、整然と並ぶ小さな窓など独特の酪農農家の建築は印象的。奥にはアイガー、メンヒ、ユングフラウなどベルナーアルプスの山並も広がっています。美味しいグルメや多彩なアクティビティが楽しめるのも魅力です。

ジュラ山脈の麓でビール（ビエンヌ）湖の北端にあり、 独語と仏語の2ヵ国語併用が法律で定められている町です。オメガやスウォッチの本社がある時計産業の中心地としても有名。

Due to its wonderful location at the southern slope of the Niederhorn, directly on the right bank of Lake Thun, Merligen enjoys a Mediterranean climate all year round. The lake breeze and the panorama of the Bernese Alps, which seem close enough to touch, put you into a holiday mood.

Located high above Lake Thun, this sun terrace offers a unique panorama of the Alpine peaks of the Bernese Oberland including the famous threesome, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Away from the main tourist streams, the village is particularly popular with nature-lovers and families.

言語：ドイツ語／カントン：ソロトゥルン（SO）／標高：435m ベルンとバーゼルの間、ジュラ山麓でアーレ河畔に位置するソロトゥルン州の州都。ローマ時代に遡る歴史を誇り、中世には自由都市として発展しました。今も旧市街に12〜18世紀の建物が残っています。さまざまな建築様式が混ざっていますが、とくに貴族の邸宅など美しいバロック建築があり、スイスで最も美しいバロック都市としても有名です。面白いのは教会や噴水、塔の数、大聖堂の祭壇や鐘、正面階段の数などが全て11、州としても11番目にスイス連邦に加盟するなど、聖なる数字11の町といわれています。

Axalp is a clearing at 1535 metres altitude above the resort of Brienz. It can be reached by post bus or car in 35 minutes from the village. Axalp is ideally located for hiking in summer and skiing in winter.

クライネ・シャイデックへの登山鉄道、ミューレンやシルトホルンへ結ぶロープウェイと登山鉄道が発着する、ユングフラウ地方の観光拠点のひとつ。氷河がつくる地形の代表的なU字谷にあり、アルプスの雪山、岩壁を落ちる滝、色とりどりの花々などが織りなす童話や物語の世界のような情景で、アニメ『アルプスの少女ハイジ』や『指輪物語』などのモデルになっています。

源流となるグリムゼル峠からアーレ川の流れにそってマイリンゲンを通り、ブリエンツ湖の南東までのびる谷。アルプスの山々に囲まれており、ブリュニック峠、グロッセ・シャイデック、グリムゼル峠、スステン峠まで広がる一帯は、アルプスのワイルドな絶景から牧草地が美しい山里の情景まで変化に富んでいます。

The arrival alone is spectacular – a cable-car takes you high over the rocks to Gimmelwald (1400 m).

Ringgenberg-Goldswil (located near Interlaken) offers vacation visitors a special attraction overlooking Lake Brienz - a lovely lido, the "Burg-seeli". It enjoys a sheltered setting with pleasantly warm water tem-perature, and is popular among swimmers and sunbathers from early summer.

ラウターブルンネン谷にそそりたつ崖の上に鳥の巣にたたずむ山村。ガソリン車乗り入れ禁止のリゾートで、澄んだ空気とアルプスの素朴な雰囲気が保たれています。シルトホルン観光の拠点でもあり、豊富なハイキングコースも魅力です。

仏語圏と独語圏との境界線になるモラ湖（ムルテン湖）の南東岸にある中世の町。世界遺産に認定されたベルンと同じツェーリンゲン家によって築かれた町は、彫像と泉、時計塔、アーケード、地下の貯蔵庫（ケラー）など類似するところが多く、ミニチュアベルンといった雰囲気。町を取り囲む城壁に上れば、赤茶色の屋根が連なる旧市街や湖、葡萄畑が一望できます。

Spiez is situated between hills and vineyards on Lake Thun in the most beautiful bay in Europe. Especially the castle of Spiez invites you to explore. Due to its location, the town is also the starting point for excursions into the Bernese Oberland.

インターラーケンの南に位置する小さな村。ベルナーオーバーラント鉄道でグリンデルワルトやラウターブルンネンへ向かうユングフラウ地方への旅の入口です。三名山を真正面からのぞむ眺望や、高山植物園、多彩なハイキングが楽しめることで人気のシーニゲプラッテへの旅の拠点として有名。ヴィルダースヴィル駅から山頂へかわいい登山鉄道で結びます。
